Chhattisgarh News : छत्तीसगढ़ में पुलिस प्रशासन (Chhattisgarh New DGP) के शीर्ष पद पर बड़ा बदलाव हुआ है। अरुण देव गौतम को प्रदेश का नया पुलिस महानिदेशक (DGP) नियुक्त किया गया है। सरकार की ओर से जारी आदेश के अनुसार, उन्हें छत्तीसगढ़ पुलिस महानिदेशक का अतिरिक्त प्रभार सौंपा गया है।
छत्तीसगढ़ के पूर्व डीजीपी (Chhattisgarh New DGP) अशोक जुनेजा का कार्यकाल सोमवार को समाप्त हो गया। वह पहले ही दो बार सेवा विस्तार का लाभ ले चुके थे, लेकिन इस बार सरकार ने उनके कार्यकाल को आगे नहीं बढ़ाया। अशोक जुनेजा की सेवा समाप्त होने से पहले नए डीजीपी की नियुक्ति को लेकर सरकार द्वारा नामों पर विचार किया जा रहा था।
डीजीपी की दौड़ में कई नाम थे (Chhattisgarh New DGP)
छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार ने नए डीजीपी के चयन के लिए अधिकारियों के नाम यूपीएससी (संघ लोक सेवा आयोग) को भेजे थे, जहां से मंजूरी मिलने के बाद अरुण देव गौतम के नाम का आधिकारिक ऐलान किया गया। इस पद की दौड़ में आईपीएस अफसर हिमांशु गुप्ता और जीपी सिंह के नाम भी चर्चा में थे। हालांकि, सरकार ने अरुण देव गौतम पर भरोसा जताते हुए उन्हें यह महत्वपूर्ण जिम्मेदारी सौंपी है।
