Raipur : Jindal Steel & Power (JSP) has been awarded two prestigious Greentech Awards 2025 during a ceremony held in New Delhi on 14th June. The company was declared the winner in two categories: “Agriculture Promotion” and “Welfare of Elder Persons”, marking a remarkable recognition of its inclusive and sustainable social initiatives led by the Jindal Foundation.
Chairperson of Jindal Foundation, Smt. Shallu Jindal, expressed her gratitude:

Under its flagship agricultural initiatives, JSP has trained over 25,000 farmers in organic cultivation, drip irrigation, and soil health management.

The recently launched Mobile Soil Testing Laboratory in Angul, inspired by MP Shri Naveen Jindal’s vision, is driving forward the Foundation’s natural farming programme.

Welfare of Elder Persons (Greentech Awards 2025)

Through its elder welfare programs, Jindal Foundation is providing mobile health clinics, day-care centres, home visits, and mental wellness support, particularly in rural areas.

The Foundation is partnering with NGOs to provide food and emotional support to destitute elderly citizens.

A new initiative, ‘Jindal Apnaghar’, will soon offer healthy ageing homes to help senior citizens live with dignity and care.
